Big Screen Animal Crossing – Pocket Camps
If you have an Amazon device and you want to play Animal Crossing, you have to find your APK yourself. Also, in case you don’t already know, the “apk” file is the installer file for Android apps. Amazon has their own app store… as does the Goog, of course. And since those worlds don’t get along, you have to really really want to play such games to go looking in the questionable corners of the Internet.
Or! You can export your own APK from a legitimate device and try to install it from your own personal apps… that’s probably a lot safer.
You Can Install Google Stuff Too
The truth of the matter is, you can get most Google apps worth using to work on a 2017 Kindle Fire HD 10. Just not the Play Store. Well, I couldn’t figure it out – and I’m not interested in messing with the deepest innards of this nice big tablet.
Search for APKs that don’t require anything newer than Android 5 (Lollipop), and you’ll pretty much be able to download and install all kinds of things. In order to run Google Play Games or Books or TV/Movies or any official Google apps (besides the Play Store itself), you should install:
- Google Play Services
- Google Services Framework, and
- Google Account Manager.
This seems to have made many things seamlessly usable within the Amazon universe.
